In its 2035 Action Plan, Hydro-Québec set a goal to convince 125,000 residential and commercial customers to become self-generators of electricity.
"It’s very ambitious on Hydro-Québec’s part, because right now there are fewer than a thousand of us. This will allow Quebec to catch up with the rest of North America, particularly Ontario and Vermont," says Martin Lambert, a self-generator and owner of Ecosolaris, a specialized company based in Saint-Jérôme.
