Combining the expertise of Canadian organizations with that of local partners to improve healthcare in Kinshasa: that is the goal of the ECollectif project. Born from a collaboration between the NGO Santé Monde and the company Ecosolaris, the initiative helps strengthen health systems through solar energy.
In addition to the experience of healthcare teams and the quality of equipment, the smooth operation of clinics and hospitals relies on a secure power supply. However, in several regions of the world, access to a reliable energy supply remains a challenge. This is particularly true in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), where many health facilities struggle to ensure the continuity of services offered to the population and, consequently, the quality of care.
