Our Journey

Since 2008, we have moved forward with the conviction that everyone can contribute to a better future, provided they have the right tools and the right energy to make it happen.

We have paved this path with heart, building three complementary divisions: Ecosolaris, to support energy independence; Nordik Radiant, to provide lasting comfort; and Solar Cooling, to rethink the air conditioning of tomorrow.

This timeline highlights the key milestones of our journey, each reflecting our commitment to innovate with purpose, grow with impact, and empower everyone to build a more responsible world.

Ecosolaris Foundation

At that time, Ecosolaris's primary expertise lay in solar heating, more specifically in solar thermal.

Certified and Forward-Thinking

Ecosolaris is one of the first solar energy–specialized companies in Quebec to hold an RBQ license allowing it to operate as a general contractor, as well as a plumbing and heating license. This significantly broadens its scope of work and strengthens the depth of its technical expertise in solar thermal systems.

Radiant Floor Launch

Ecosolaris is rapidly expanding and enhancing its offering by integrating biomass solutions and radiant floor heating. This dual breakthrough positions the company as a key player in eco-responsible heating.

Pioneering Online Solar Store

Ecosolaris launches its first online store dedicated to solar energy in Canada. Our platform, Energierenouvelable.ca, became one of the first bilingual transactional websites in the solar industry.

New Ecosolaris Division in Benin

Creation of an Ecosolaris division in Africa, specifically in Benin, to offset the seasonality of the industry in Quebec. This initiative led to partnerships with international NGOs such as (Impact that Matters | SNV) (Startseite | GIZ). The Benin division ceased its operations in 2015.

New Offering: Photovoltaic Solar Solutions and Lithium Batteries

Ecosolaris propels its offerings with advanced solar solutions by integrating photovoltaic systems and adding state-of-the-art lithium batteries. Already well-known and recognized for off-grid sites, the company deepens its expertise, making autonomous energy more accessible and establishing itself as a key reference in the field across Canada.

A Merger Driving Growth

Ecosolaris merged with GTGLOBE, an internationally recognized manufacturing company established in 2003. Following this merger, Ecosolaris became a manufacturer and distributor of hot water heating products as well as renewable energy solutions. As a result, Ecosolaris opened its first distribution warehouses in Saint-Jérôme.

Launch of Pre-Assembled Panels

The specialized radiant heating offering takes shape as the company introduces its first pre-assembled “mechanical rooms” built in the workshop. From 2016 to today, it has assembled thousands of pre-assembled heating panels to meet the growing demand of its Canadian clientele.

Expansion into the Residential Sector

The company experiences strong growth in the installation of radiant floors, primarily for new homes. Known as Ecosolaris at the time, and now operating under the name Nordik Radiant, it embarks on rapid expansion and quickly establishes a dominant position in this new market segment.

First Steps Toward Solar Heat Pumps

Alongside its operations and growth, the company initiates research and development activities for residential solar-powered heat pumps and begins prototype testing as early as 2018.

Creation of Two Specialized Divisions

To better target its offerings to North American professionals, Ecosolaris establishes two distinct divisions: the Radiant Heating division and the Off-Grid Solar Energy division.

First Pre-Series Production of Solar Heat Pumps

Manufacturing of the first pre-series samples, a key step to test and validate performance before the launch of full-scale production.

Internal Evolution

Yan Robert, who has been with the company since its inception, becomes co-owner of the divisions alongside the founder, Martin Lambert.

Two Entities, Two Areas of Expertise

The company formalizes the separation of its activities: Ecosolaris specializes in off-grid solar energy, while Nordik Radiant is established to focus on radiant floor heating.

First Volume Production of Heat Pumps

Launch of mass production of Solar Cooling heat pumps, accompanied by the acquisition of CSA, UL, Energy Star, and NRCan certifications, attesting to the quality, safety, and energy efficiency of the products.

Nordik Radiant: Online Sales Under Its Brand

Launch of national and online sales under the Nordik Radiant brand, catering to both businesses and individuals. Thanks to an innovative service offering, a large number of plumbers and heating professionals across Canada quickly adopt our online ordering platform.

Official Launch and Creation of the Solar Cooling Division

Commercial launch of hybrid heat pumps (solar & electric) with the creation of the Solar Cooling division. Sales begin in key markets across Canada and the United States, as well as in secondary markets in the Caribbean and Africa.

Expansion of Nordik Radiant Facilities

Nordik Radiant acquires its own facilities, now totaling 3,000 sq. ft. of warehouse space and 2,000 sq. ft. of administrative offices, in addition to the 5,000 sq. ft. already in use by Ecosolaris. The company now has 10,000 sq. ft. in Saint-Jérôme, in the Laurentians.

Launch of the Solar Cooling E-Commerce Website

Official launch of the e-commerce website dedicated to the Solar Cooling division, facilitating access to products and services for clients worldwide.

Exclusive Agreements for an Enhanced Offering

In addition to its full range of products, Nordik Radiant enhances its customer offering by signing exclusive distribution agreements with major international brands such as TACO and Grundfos, complementing its established distributors like Caleffi, Thermo2000, and Sinopé Technologies.
