This is not the first time that the Saint-Jérôme-based company Ecosolaris has demonstrated that Quebec’s expertise in renewable energy can have a tangible impact on people's lives. Founded in the Laurentians by Martin Lambert, President of Ecosolaris, the company was born out of an unconventional journey.
A transformative project for women's cooperatives
Prior to the project, frequent power outages paralyzed processing activities. According to Mr. Lambert, the project provides a way to have "electricity 100% of the time, using batteries, without depending on the grid." The solar installations have also encouraged the emergence of new economic opportunities.
