The SME from Saint-Jérôme in the Laurentians, which specializes in the distribution and integration of solar panels, has just completed a project in three Senegalese localities that is boosting the regional economy of this West African country.
Thanks to this initiative launched by the NGO Mer et Monde funded by the Government of Quebec’s International Climate Cooperation Program (ICCP), three women’s cooperatives now have a reliable source of electricity that costs them less. These cooperatives produce, for example, juices and animal feed, and they process coffee, millet, and cashews.
