Operation modes
Wi-Fi “Leak supervisor” mode:
The valve shuts-off the main water supply as soon as a leak is detected. *
A notification is sent by e-mail or text message indicating the source of the leak and the closing of the valve
* Requires Sinopé’s smart water leak detectors and the Sinope Water Leak Protection app available on the App Store and Google Play.
Zigbee network mode:
Allows the remote control of the valve (opening and closing) through a Zigbee-compatible hub

The Sedna smart water valve connects directly to the main water inlet and can interact with the following devices *:
Sinopé Sedna D Smart water leak detector WL4200
Sinopé Sedna DS Smart water leak detector with remote sensor WL4200S
Sinopé Flow sensor FS4220 (Winter 2020) / FS4221 (Spring 2021)
Depending on the plumbing of the main water supply, additional parts may be required (not included).
Possibility of adding a secondary valve (VA4220ZB) if two water inlets are present.
