We offer two types of battery chargers, AC chargers and DC chargers.
AC chargers are conventional battery chargers that plug into a 120V outlet. The 120V can come from the utility grid or from any generator.
DC chargers plug into a car alternator and only work on 12V or 24V. DC-DC chargers, also known as battery-to-battery chargers, are mostly used in RVs. They allow you to charge your utility batteries properly when the engine is running. They differ from a battery isolator in that the charger respects the charging stages of your batteries, while the isolator simply applies voltage from the alternator. This guarantees you an improved lifespan of your batteries!
